TES

Technical Entry Scheme (Army)

Join the Army as an officer straight after Class 12 — no separate written exam. The Army shortlists candidates on their JEE Main (Paper-1) percentile, then calls them straight to the SSB interview.

ℹ️ Good to know: No separate written test: TES shortlisting is based on your JEE Main (Paper-1) percentile, not an Army exam. Clear the cut-off and you go straight to the 5-day SSB — so SSB prep is what decides your selection.

The SSB stage
